Sustainability statement

Our studio is fully solar powered, both electricity and heating are provided by 52 solar panels. Our building has an A++ energy label.

We actively reduce waste, for example by giving every piece of material a new purpose in our designs.

We involve as many local suppliers as possible to reduce transport emissions.

We only make products that last a lifetime, are (almost) entirely made of recycled material or are (almost) completely biodegradable. In 2023 we were nominated for the 'Guiltless Plastic Award' by Rossana Orlandi.

We have an active 'last-mile' policy for our employees/interns and visitors. This means that we encourage and facilitate the use of public transport in the 'last mile' by picking up or providing a bicycle (our studio is located in the countryside, at some distance from stops/stations).
